Dr. Martin Jack Rosenblum is a Rounder
Records recording artist and an artist endorsee
for Gibson Guitars/Montana. He has written
books ranging from poetry to historical texts and
is Historian Emeritus for the Harley-Davidson
Motor Company.
He has been at the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee beginning in 1970 and
was one of the founding instructors in the then
fledgling Creative Writing Program (English
Department) and was an Academic
Advisor/Admissions Specialist (DLSEO).
Presently, he is a Lecturer in Music History And
Literature in the UWM Peck School of the Arts,
Music Department.
"Searching For Rock And Roll" is a
comprehensive history book with vision from
Martin Jack, with Shepherd Express A&E Editor
David Luhrssen as co-author. It is to be noted
that Dr. Rosenblum was involved in the
Rockabilly era, Folk/Blues Revival and Art and
Alternative Rock and Roll decades -- so it is a
scholastic text from one who was there.
